Mid-Year Pause Retreat Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
Your place on The Mid-Year Pause is secured either by full payment at the time of booking, or by selecting Klarna and agreeing to their three interest-free instalments.
If you choose to pay via Klarna, your instalment schedule and payment terms will be confirmed directly by Klarna at the time of purchase.
Full payment (either directly or via Klarna) must be successfully completed to retain your place. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Payment Plans
Where Klarna is selected, the payment agreement is made between you and Klarna. It is your responsibility to ensure instalments are paid in accordance with their terms.
If a Klarna payment is missed and not resolved within their stated timeframe, and the booking is cancelled as a result, Sekawomen reserves the right to release your place in line with the cancellation terms below.
All bookings are subject to the cancellation policy outlined in sections 3 and 4.
3. Cancellation by You
All payments are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to a friend or another suitable guest, with prior notice and approval.
Any transfer must be completed no later than 14 days before the retreat begins.
We strongly recommend that you arrange appropriate travel insurance to cover illness, travel disruption or other unforeseen circumstances.
4. Cancellation by Sekawomen
In the unlikely event that Sekawomen needs to cancel the retreat due to circumstances beyond our control, all payments received will be refunded in full.
Sekawomen cannot be responsible for any additional costs incurred by you (including travel, insurance or other personal arrangements).
5. Programme Changes
Every effort will be made to deliver the retreat as described. However, occasionally adjustments may be necessary due to weather, guest expert availability or other operational factors.
Any changes will be made thoughtfully and in keeping with the overall intention and quality of the experience.
6. Accommodation
Rooms are allocated according to the category selected and on a first-booked basis.
While specific room numbers cannot be guaranteed, every effort will be made to honour your chosen room type.
Accommodation is provided by Burleigh Court and subject to their normal operating procedures.
7. Health & Wellbeing
Please inform Sekawomen at the time of booking of any medical conditions, allergies or dietary requirements.
Participation in movement sessions, guided walks and other activities is entirely voluntary. You are responsible for ensuring that activities are suitable for your own health and wellbeing.
8. Travel & Transport
Return mini-bus transport from Amersham and local transport for the pub dinner are included in your retreat investment.
Should you decide to travel to and from Amersham independently, these arrangements are your responsibility.
9. Personal Responsibility & Insurance
We encourage all guests to arrange suitable insurance to cover travel, illness and personal belongings.
Sekawomen cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, delay or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Privacy & Community
This retreat is built on trust and mutual respect. Guests are asked to honour the privacy and confidentiality of others within the group.
By participating in this event you are consenting to the use of images to capture the essence of the retreat experience for social media purposes.
11. Acceptance
By securing your place, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
